About the Campaign...

The current campaign our party is in is an average high fantasy game.
The party is currently on their 6th session

The story thus far:
Session 1:
TLDR:We are taking care of pops house. He has a weird un-explorable basement. We got bored did a side quest. Fought some angry blobs and leveled up. 👍

Long version (provided by the cleric):
Pops left us a letter that said that there was an "imbalance in the magical world" (or something i think) and that he had to go check it out. He said he would be gone and that he needed all of us to look after his home in our childhood town "Phandelver" and make sure no one stole anything or broke in. After, it teleported us to Phandelver where we got lost, talked to an old zaddy and then found pops home (its essentially bilbo's house) he also said in the letter he left us food and potions and that we SHOULD NOT go into the basement. So then obviously we investigated the home and a bread box and then i did a little spelly-spell to detect magic and we went into the basement. Down there it was pitch black and there was a dingy old library with a book in dwarfish on the table in the center of the room. Since none of us could read it we looked past the library and saw an old door that wouldn't open. Dowd tried picking the lock, it didn't work and so isabelle (the genius she is) had the idea to set something on fire and then the door on fire. Her spell couldn't work on objects, only ppl so since myles is the strongest she decided to set him on fire, he would run into the door and then i would let it burn for a sec then put them both out with ny water spell so the whole house didnt burn down. The chances of mykes taking damage were so slim and we had all rolled shit numbers the entire game we figured... No biggie 🤷‍♀️. We were wrong, by dumb luck isabelle rolled a 19 and myles took damage, anyways our plan worked and we got passed the door, in there, was nothing but a large void. Myles ran thru it and on the other side was a big ass canyon with a door on the other side, we all went thru and then i got bullied and smne tried to compel me to commit suicide, (i think it was wilfred?) anyways i decided there was no point in living anyways so jumped and then it was an infinite loop so i swum to the other side and then everyone followed. After trying everything to unlock the door we ditched the basement, lotted pop's house and dipped. We explored a little and decided to head to town hall and talk to the assistant or wtv. After some insane rizz on my part (some may call it sexual harassment but wtv) she told us to check out the quest board thingy. We did so and recieved three quests for money. One was to find a missing wagon, one was idfk and the last one was get rid of sum slimes in a tavern. Myles thought he was that guy n wanted to go do the slime one on his own but smith advised us yo stick tgtr. So we went back to my eye candy and asked abt the slime one, got directions and went over there. We discovered piles of acid based slime puddles in a wine cellar that benefitted on water. We battled with them and i used my remove water spell a few times. After one of the slimes got thru a wine barrel, it grew but was trying to push the non water parts out of it. Myles had the genius idea to pour lamp oil on em and after like two turns that did the job. We collected our silver and then got an insane amnt of (xp?) and leveled up to level 3. We picked our stuff and then thats where we ended.
